Macmasters Beach

Welcome to Macmasters Beach.

Macmasters Beach accommodation is in a south-eastern suburb on the Central Coast, NSW. Best known for its pristine sandy beach and distinguishing headlands Macmasters Beach was named after Alan MacMaster who once owned 600 acres of land in the area.

Bordered by the Cochrone Lake and the Bouddi National Park, Macmasters Beach is set in a valley. With limited boat access, the area was deemed unsuitable for farming and by 1891 there were only 11 people residing in the village. Today there are almost 900 homes in the area.

Rated as one of Australia’s top surfing beaches Macmasters Beach is best known for its cracking waves and stand-up paddle boarding. The beach is patrolled making it safe for children with a tidal swimming pool and a local Surf Lifesaving Club. Walk along the sand to Copacabana beach and take your dog there for a swim in the pet lake. Seafood lovers rejoice as Macmasters Beach is nearby Hardys Bay wharf and local shopping centres and activities are nearby also.
